Hey, my name is Steffen and I'm currently looking for a city where I want to live. Meeting all kinds of different people is something I find very interesting and I always try to approach people with an open mind.
I see myself as an easy-going and creative person one can have long and intense conversations with. I’m a passionate gamer as I find there isn’t much that can thrill and fascinate in so many different ways as videogames can.
I love to excite people for new things they didn’t pay much attention to before. I should also mention that I’m not a person who will always tell you what you want to hear: If you tell me about an argument or some other issue you had with a friend of yours, I’m not afraid to say that it is you who’s in the wrong. In my opinion there are way too many people who think that that is what friendship and listening to each other is about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I wrote in the 'About Me'-section, I want to meet all kinds of different people and understand their motivations and personal beliefs. Besides, I’m looking to move to a new city and thought that couchsurfing would be a great way to check out new places, explore and find my next home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I generally listen to everything that makes me 'feel' something: Rap, Klassik, EDM, Electro Swing, Rock - nearly everything, as along it’s beyond mainstream boredom.

I read mostly non-fiction, but my favourite book is 'Happyface'.

I much prefer series over films for the same reason I would prefer a novel over a short story, the story being told is way more extensive. There would be Peaky Blinders, Blacklist, Designated Survivor, 13 Reasons Why, The Get Down, Suits and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, just to name a few.

My favorite games include Horizon: Zero Dawn, The Zelda Series, Fallout and Rocket League. Of course, I’ve played many more...

I’m interested in learning all kinds of different stuff. I’m not saying that I’m gonna be passionate about every new thing I’m introduced to, but I will give it a try.
