Hey, I´m Steffen, I´m a very open minded, enthusiastic traveller and want to get to know the world.
I love everything/ everybody that/who inspires me and broadens my horizon.

I´m a easy going person, eager to make any work related experiences as well as social und cultural experiences.

I´m a very considerate, respectful person and quite empathic.
I´m always up for a laugh and a good talk, as I think that humour and positive attitude are two of the most important things in life.

From June 2017 I will start backpacking in Thailand (first Bangkok) and through South East Asia. I will also do workaway volunteering .

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am happy to meet and get to know new people and make friends around the world. I want to learn about a lands culture and get to know it from "the inside" so not just typical touristic views.

兴趣

My interests besides travelling, get to know people and cultures and volunteering itself are: 
the environment and its protection, ecological system, social and charity projects, land and sea animals and their protection, scuba diving, snorkeling, horseback riding (english so far), sightseeing, social events, 
learning new skills and sports and expand my existing skills.

Music: depends on my mood - all kind of good-mood-music. Hands up, pop, electronic, rock, mainstream, german pop and rock.
e.g. Adele, Ed Sheeran, The Black Keys etc

Movies and Series: a lot... comedies, action, thriller.
I like everything that makes me laugh, think, feel or inspires me.
e.g. Sherlock (absolute favorite!), Guardians of the Galaxy 1+2 (so funny and cool!), Wolf of Wallstreet, Doctor Strange, Fight Club, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Hector or the search for happines, Absolutely Anything, Hot Fuzz, Man Up

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- Whale watching in Norway. I saw sperm whales and orcas. It´s so amazing and wonderful.
I also saw Porpoises swimming right through under our boat when fishing! It feels magic to see such wonderful creatures.

- Open Water Scuba diving in North-Norway.
I also dived in the strongest tidal current in the world several times. Really fast maelstrom and whirpools in the water, so crazy!

- Going partying with my crazy friends and meeting cray party-goers. I love having a great time with amazing people xD
