Please note:
I don't live in Salzburg (Austria). I live in Ainring (Germany). If you travel by car or bicycle Salzburg and the bavarian alps are very close.
If you travel by public transport it's a bit more complicated. The nearest train station is Freilassing from where I can pick you up if I have time. Otherwise it's a 30-40 min walk (which is how I usually get around here!).
Right next to my home is the Ainringer Moor where you can find nice hikes in the forest with beautiful views on the alps.
