About Me
update: unfortunately cannot host very often right now:(
hello everyone,
originally from berlin with bulgarian roots & i have been happily living and studying psychology in the netherlands for the past 2 years and miss the "random contact" part about travelling. even though most my couchsurfing experience have been offline until now i´d love to give back a bit through this website. so mi casa es tu casa:)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
i love the concept! creating a community to connect, support interpersonal contact and to enable exchange is great!:) even though we live in different worlds, we grew up under different circumstances and with different cultures, we are capable of perceiving strangers as people we have been knowing for a long time. i think thats very special.

Music, Movies, and Books
i like funk, hip-hop, jazz and all kinds of oldies. furthermore, to fulfill the berlin-stereotype, of course, i like going out to techno;))
i really like movies! i love stanley kubrick, tarantino, david lynch, nolan and gaspar noe... i appreciate it when movies take their time and the characters develop the story, and not the other way around. good acting is awesome!
some classics:
8 1/2, clockwork orange, inception, fight club, basketball diaries, citizen kane, big fish, spirited away, prestige, taxi driver, dead poet society, rocky horror...
my all-time favorite book is on the road.
i also like to kill a mocking bird, harry potter, sleepers, the old man and the sea, alice in wonderland, just kids, kafka on the shore, demian...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i gained my first backpacking experience hitch-hiking for a month in europe, which was awesome. hitch-hiking is a great way to get in touch with people you normally wouldn´t. tons of unexpected situations occur, making the experience adventurous. on my first trip, from sharing a little hammock in a truck with 3 people to being convinced we are being kidnapped unforgettable things have happened:)
Teach, Learn, Share
my goal is to be able to speak 10 languages before i die. well, i’m still far away from that goal, but i´m trying to learn at least one sentence of each new language i get in touch with.
i can teach you how to roll the ´r´, some bulgarian and german tongue-twisters, how to open a beer with a lighter, a spoon or your teeth (though not recommended) and whatever else you want:)
What I Can Share with Hosts
i can share my stories:)
i´m a good listener too...
