Overview
About Me
Trans woman, like transgender, think Caitlyn Jenner but with less media coverage and much more awesome.
Also Scottish. I actually grew up in a village called Guthrie but it's too small for Couchsurfing to have on it's list! Some people find that interesting but I have to work really hard to produce a strong accent. Sorry to disappoint :P
I've lived in Norway since 2002, I'm a fan of going out but I'm not crazy. I work for a company involved in recycling, I used to be kind of a workaholic but these days I think I'm pretty chill.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Seems like a pretty cool way of meeting new people, I've never claimed to be the worlds most outgoing person but I do like meeting new people and making new friends.
And maybe, just maybe, I'll discover a little bit more about myself and the city I live in too.
Interests
Art, design, cool technology, uncool technology, science and photography. I have a passing interest in collecting vinyl.

Music, Movies, and Books
Jonathan Strange & Mr Norell. Iain M Bank Culture novels. Speculative sci-fi and alternative/fantasy history basically.
I have a love hate relationship with Game of Thrones, I think the books aren't particularly well written or paced but I still read the hell out of them. I think the TV series is unnecessary brutal to the point of being hard to watch but I keep going back.
True Detective and Breaking Bad have been highlights for me but I still have time for shows like Penny Dreadful and Vikings.
Peter Capaldi makes a very good Doctor. Looking forward to the next season a lot.
I also have a soft spot for Bob's Burgers and Adventure Time.
I'm a bit childish I guess. So sue me.
I used to say I had a fairly eclectic musical tastes but on honest analysis it turns out what I really like is EDM , 80s synth, 90s punk with female vocals and a lot of things with a left wing political vibe.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Red Dot design awards are pretty cool.
