I traveled 8 months in asia, like all the backpackers after school does. The first time I used couchsurfing was in Japan and it opened a whole new world for me. The contact with people who actually live at the place I'm visiting, who can show me the real places and tell me the local stories was so overwhelming that I decided to couchsurf more. But since I came back to Germany and started to studying I didn't found the time for traveling anymore. But I hope soon its gonna change again, because I want want to explore Europe a little bit more!

It's a great way to meet different people from all over the world. Furthermore traveling is so important and should be possible for everybody.
