Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hopefully in the very near future I will be able to Host travelers to what I think is one of the most beautiful parts of the world :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I graduated High school, I decided I wanted to go travelling before I continue my education, and while on my 3 month journey through Europe I ended up surfing on multiple couches. In Bologna I met an amazing girl who took me in on a night where I would have had to sleep on a bench. In Berlin I met an amazing Frenchman that let me sleep on his couch multiple times because I had almost run out of money! I love couch surfing, the people that you meet are absolutely amazing and I hope to host people in BC soon enough!
Interests
Back home I spend my time working at an art gallery, and during the mornings I am almost always out on the lake rowing. I love watching sports (and I mean who doesn't?) such as Hockey, Soccer and on occasion American Football. When I have free time, I usually get together with some friends and go for lunch or to the gym, or just sit outside and read a book!
Music, Movies, and Books
Im pretty easy going when it comes to all of the above. If it looks like a good movie i'll watch it. As for music I'll listen to anything with the exception of most country music. For books I like Thrillers, Non-Fiction and Fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I have done, and I think that everybody should do before they die, is to go to Sydney, Australia for New Years Eve and watch the world famous fire works as they explode over the Opera house and Sydney's harbor bridge.
Another amazing thing that I've done would be Paragliding. When I was in Mexico I had the opportunity to jump off of a 3000 ft mountain, and did it in a heartbeat! It was by far one of the most amazing, cool things I've ever done and I would highly suggest doing it if the opportunity arises!
