About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking for adventure and learning to embrace ambiguity

ABOUT ME

I am prone to existential crises which has led me to throw caution to the wind time and time again in an attempt to live the most meaningful life I can live. I completed a master's degree in counseling in 2014 and, in the midst of a life shift inspired by a longing for freedom, fun, and discovery, I began looking for jobs abroad. After a few short weeks I was given an interview with a school in Kuwait as a high school counselor, was offered the job, had to decide the next day what I would do, and left for Kuwait two weeks later.

I believe that the doors open for a reason and I cling to the belief that each new step preparing me for exactly what I asked for. Each day I'm facing myself in new ways and I'm committed to learning whatever it is I'm meant to learn from this experience.

In the meantime, my husband Ben has had the opportunity to work toward finishing his degree and we have relished the many travel opportunities that come as a benefit of living in the Middle East.

I like to think that Ben and I are worth getting to know. We are fun, open, and ready for new experiences. We are very fond of genuine, authentic people and have a deep respect for the individual journey of life.
