ABOUT ME

Everyone calls me "Stefrose" for shorter version of my full name.

First most interesting thing about me would be the fact that i am Deaf and it doesn't stop me from living my life to the fullest. In fact, i find it a bliss because it have shown me a different perspective on life which fulfills me wonderful in many ways. I grew up in a rural farm town then moved to Rochester, NY for college and continued my education in arts at a grad school in Bozeman, MT. I lived in Boston, MA for 3 years before returning to my home state where i reside now. I am fortune to have met so many wonderful people through my traveling experiences and look forward to many more in future especially out of USA!

Simple things pleasure me such as great conversations, new food tasting, doing yoga, walking, cycling and breath in something called "Life" I enjoy making textile art and express myself into my works. Cycling is basically my LIFE from springtime to fall time! Being in nature brings the biggest smile out of me. I love animals as well!

during warmer weather, i will consider hosting visitors where i can take them out to camping, experience the beautiful nature out here and breath in the clean wonderful air out here. Its currently in wintertime where its COLD and plenty of snow covered everywhere here.

I am still new to this and will update this section when i have experienced more of this.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have took people under my roof when they needed help for a short period of time. I have taken people who were passing through this area by taking them to camping and giving them the real outdoors experience. I travel a lot and meet people on the road and share food over camp sites i am at.

I have take countless road trips around USA (touched 43 states so far) and my next step is to get out of USA and see more of the world

I am fluent in American Sign Language and love teaching people and you will ENJOY learning it because its FUN to pick up on!!!!
