ABOUT ME

I am always down to have fun. I love being active; whether it's hiking, snorkeling, running, crossfit, or swimming, I love it all. I'm a midwestern girl that moved to the desert and loving the weather. I can go with the flow and easily strike up a conversation. I'm a nurse and my stories can be a little gross...oops. Sorry. :) I enjoy traveling when I can and I have quite a long list of places to check off the bucket list.

PHILOSOPHY

I love discovering new cultures, places, and ideas. Family and friends are really important to me. I enjoy sharing fun memories with fun people. I believe in trying everything, well most things, at least once.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a couple people in the past and have had great experiences. It's cool to be a part of someone else's journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I was visiting in Hawaii, my friend asked if a couchsurfer could join for 2 nights. Not having any clue what it was, I blinding agreed. The guy that stayed with us was pretty awesome. It made me interested and here I am.

Interests

I can enjoy any type of concert as long as they are not screaming at me. If there's a good tune on the radio, I'm dancing. I love my dog and any dog that likes some lovin. I can go out and have a good time or stay in and play cranium or Euchre (midwest peeps where you at??) :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any music that makes me get up and dance. I'm biased towards hip hop and R&B, although I do attend music festivals outside my norm and those happen to be the best concerts. I will watch paranormal activity (creeps me out), by myself...at night. That's a good time. Memoirs are great to read and any murder mystery that keeps the pages turning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was shark week while I visited a friend on Oahu. We swam with those vicious sharks and I puked a little so they would eat that and not me. While I was in Costa Rica, that same friend and I zip lined high in the jungle of trees and waterfalls. That was pretty stellar.
