About Me

Hi I’m Stella! I like spicy food, dessert, making and appreciating art and music, comedy, yoga, self-care, languages, deep conversations, hosting parties, slow travel…among other things. I’m a scientist turned creative. I freelance as a writer, podcast and video producer for science content.

I recently finished grad school and sold/donated my belongings after living in San Francisco for 6 years, and have been traveling since. As I travel, I’ve also been producing an audiovisual podcast where I interview people I meet. (I’d love to interview you, yes you ☺️)

I love to meet people, learn from them, and be immersed in different cultures. I’m passionate about sustainability, accessibility, science and technology, and what we can achieve with them combined.

**Update, recently moved back to the bay after nomading for 3 years.**

I’m excited to meet like minded people. Looking to make meaningful connections and get out of my comfort zone 🌱

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music and I make a lot of playlists. Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of The Cavemen, Show Dem Camp, and PAUZA. I’ve recently been learning to DJ and I love it! Hope to produce music in the future.

I’m more of a TV than movie person. I like comedies and science fiction, and I’m a sucker for those vampire, doctor and firefighter dramas 🤷🏾‍♀️

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Performed stand-up comedy for about a year, but mostly just living on my own terms :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m more than happy to help you practice English and show you how to make some Nigerian food. I’ll share some of my music and tell you about places I’ve visited, if you’re interested. I’d love to practice my Spanish and French, and pickup some Arabic, Kiswahili, and Portuguese.

I’d like to learn about different cultures, collaborate on fun projects, art, music, photoshoots, and pick up some new skills. Let’s trade stories and inspire each other!

What I Can Share with Hosts
