Overview
About Me
25 year old girl that quit her job in Australia 4 months ago to travel through Europe (the typical story). I speak English with a thick Australian accent (sadly) and possess some very poor/limited Italian. Would love to learn more however. I’ve been travelling with friends a lot over the last few months as well as visiting a lot of my family in Italy.
I have never used couch surfing before but have been very encouraged by friends that have. I’ve been told it’s the best way to travel in order to have the most local of experiences. I’ve been travelling for a while now and would love to give it a go. I am also slowly running out of money (I guess that’s what happens when you are unemployed), so it’s a real saviour in that way also.
As a traveller there are a few things I value in a place:
- Delicious food.
- Delicious booze.
- A nice place to watch a sunset.
- A few good hiking trails/walks among nature.
- Kind locals who don’t mind showing me around and can put up with my endless questions and dry sense of humour.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First and foremost to meet new people and have a local, authentic experience wherever I go.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am also a bookworm with an appreciation for all works. I will read anything. Some favourites are: The Harry Potter Series, Catcher in the Rye, Game of Thrones Series and Atonement. My favourite writer is Ian McEwan. Currently reading: Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov.
Also love films, but I’d be here all day if I started writing about that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Despite being a relatively unamazing individual, I’d say booking a one way ticket to the other side of a world and boarding the plane two weeks later was pretty amazing. It certainly felt liberating though.
Teach, Learn, Share
Admittedly my skills are limited, but can teach an array of Australian slang. Love to learn absolutely anything.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a few stories, try my hand in the kitchen and promise an interesting conversation.
