Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To resist boredom and test limits.
ABOUT ME
A professional amateur. I love to fill my time with many things, up to and including: writing, reading, bicycling, playing with dirt, climbing trees and rocks and mountains, traveling the world, building community, dancing, talking about stuff, learning about stuff, taking pictures of stuff, building stuff, fixing stuff, stuffing stuff, doing stuff with stuff and I guarantee you (like most people), I'm way more interesting in the flesh.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life for life's sake. Every second we are on this planet is a second worth doing something amazing with. If we live for love and learning, we have the capacity to change the world, one positive interaction at a time. The more time we spend living for ourselves and not for bosses and bills - the more time we will have for creating the communities and the world we want to live in. I travel because the farther from home I get, the more I realize that home is truly in the heart. When you don't have a home, squat the heart.

Soaking in hot-springs at 11,000ft under a blanket of radiant stars while icicles formed on my hair.
Teach, Learn, Share
Jack of all trades, but a master of none .I can share knowledge about a great many things, but it is up to you to become an expert. As such, I'd be happy to help you learn how to: fix a bike, plant a garden, climb some rocks, make guacamole, juggle some balls, make a zine, take photos, forage for herbs and berries in the forest, laugh so hard juice comes spraying out of your nose, cook tasty vegan food....
I'd like to learn how to: speak Spanish, travel across glaciers, build a house, quiet the mind, take better photos, identify mushrooms, better understand your culture, philosophy and political situation....
The more we share with each other: from knowledge to skills, to the things we have in excess, the less we need to depend on the alienating and unfulfilling exchange of capital for goods and services. Furthermore, sharing is an act of love, the more we are able to share with one another, the stronger our community, support, and exchange networks become.
