Overview
About Me
Open minded, laid-back girl from Germany. I'm currently doing my teaching degree for primary schools and love it so far.
After graduating from high school in 2014 I moved to the States (Princeton, NJ) to work as an au pair for one year. I've travelled all over Europe with my family, so my goal was to discover the world on my own - starting with the United States.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friend Julie took me for my first Couchsurfing experiences in 2017 and I loved it! It's the perfect opportunity to get to know new people and to see the city from a local's point of view. Couchsurfing is not only about having a place to stay at - it's the memories you make and the people you meet that make Couchsurfing such a great experience.
Interests
Of course I LOVE to travel (didn't expect that haha). I love to cuddle up in bed with a good book or watch a good TV show, but I'm also down for partying or going out at night. Even though I don't play any instrument, I couldn't live without music - it's a huge part of my life. Also, I like being creative which is pretty convenient since I'll be a primary teacher haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most scary, but also most amazing thing I've ever done in my life was deciding to go a year abroad as an au pair. It was hard to leave my family and friends behind, but I think that it was the best decision I've ever made in my life! This year didn't only help me to improve my English Skills and get to know new people and another country, it also helped me to become more independent and to kind of grow up and find myself.
