About Me

I always struggle to fill out this section.... it's a constant work in progress for me to try and portray the person I am all round in this little box!

A lot of people tell me that I am incredibly easy to warm to and feel comfortable around, so I pride myself on that. I enjoy all paces of life, the sociable, the party, the quiet and serene. I'm half-English, half-American but I was born and raised outside of London.

My Aunt and Uncle stayed with me for 2 weeks last year, having never been to London or the UK. I had so much fun being tour-guide around my country. I love to research where I'm going, what I'd like to see and especially how to get around, as certainly with cities, public transport is like the veins of it's body. I relish your knowledge and experience as a local, and all the little things that make your life happy in the place you live.

I'm visually inspired, I think in images so you'll learn a lot about me from my Pinterest and Instagram accounts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As nice as hotels are, I'm trying to see lots of the world on a budget and exercising my faith in humanity by taking you up on your generous hospitality and requesting use of your safe place to rest my head while doing so.

The 'WHAT I CAN SHARE WITH HOSTS' bit should really be up here.
I'm great company. I'm clean, tidy and a non-fussy eater. I'm inquisitive as well as an excellent listener. Awkwardness is funny in certain points, but I'll point it out, laugh at it, and make myself comfortable pretty quickly! I make an excellent cup of tea, I'm better at making dessert than dinner, but breakfast is sorted!

I enjoy a glass of wine or two over any and all conversation and be warned, I have a filthy sense of humour.

I'm fascinated by people and their stories, and considering the many wonderful, diverse people that I've met on my travels and experiences already so far, makes me even more eager to meet you! I travel a lot for work in the summer and am used to making homes away from home.
