I am a Canadian Registered nurse travelling the world with my partner Greg Chabursky. We recently completed a work holiday of a year in Australia and had the most amazing time. Now we are slowly making our way back home to Canada while seeing the world on the way. Our plan is to travel South-East Asia for a few months and make our way over to Middle East and lastly visit Europe for a total of 6months.

Places we've done so far this trip: Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

My partner and I love travelling and meeting new people, new cultures and trying new things. We really want to get to know what it is like to live in the cities we visit and not just the "tourist" side of things that people usually see when travelling.

We love meeting new people and having great conversation. However, as we are traveling as a couple, we have had a difficult time meeting others since we are not so much into the "party scene". We love to have a good time over dinner and a drink while making new friends.

We feel that Couchsurfing will help us get connected to people around the world that are like-minded and that share the same interests, all while visiting beautiful countries.

We are new to Couchsurfing and unfortunately haven't had the opportunity to try an experience such as couchsurfing before which is why we do not have any references yet. We are looking forward to trying it since we have heard so many amazing things about Couchsurfing!

We mostly love country music but enjoy listening to multiple different types of music.

Steph's favourite movie is Footloose and Greg's favourite movie is Star Wars and Jurassic park movie series.

Greg likes to read non fiction books, listen to audiobooks and podcasts. Most subjects around business, biographies self development.

Road tripping in a camper van from Cairns to Melbourne.
Holding a koala. Hanging out, feeding and petting kangaroos.
Jumping off a 110m cliff in Queenstown, NZ.
White water rafting in Rotorua, NZ. Learned to surf in Gold Coast Australia.
Ran our first 5k together in Melbourne.
Greg has travelled to every continent. We have combined visited over 50 countries.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

When we get home from our trip we would love to host anyone who would want to come see Canada in the capital city of Ottawa. Especially the friends we hope to make with hosts during our trip around the world.

I love to cook and would love to make a variety of different food and desserts for our hosts.

I am fluent in French and could teach our hosts some if they want to learn :)
