About Me
I work an 8-4 job, work a part-time in the evenings and squeeze in study time in between. I'm currently working my ass off to pay for tuition fees and hopefully be able to save for travels. I've been to a few countries now and after I save enough, I can't wait to plan for my next travel!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
"The Lun Bawangs live on the 3rd largest island on earth, Borneo. They used to be hardcore headhunters who get drunk on rice wine almost all year round. Then, they became terribly sick after. Suddenly, they were on the verge of extinction."
That was at one point in history. I am a Lun Bawang and am very much alive. Apparently, we survived the almost-extinction. Thanks to the brave missionaries who had to save our sorry asses. We don't hunt heads anymore. nor do we make rice wine or drink 'em all year round. We also caught up with civilization obviously.
I currently live in Ranau (for work), which is a town and district in Sabah. Sabah forms a part of East Malaysia. I'm originally from Sarawak though; it forms the other part of East Malaysia. We share the island of Borneo with two other countries; Brunei and Indonesia.
(Quick geography lesson which I hope won't get you confused)
See how there is so much to learn? We'd need to meet up for me to tell you more and for you to share your part of the world to me! And I love how CS has created this platform for people to be able to exchange experiences!
