sharing travel experiences. random cultural tidbits. I love to eat so that's usually my motivation to travel. Oh and random GPS and space stuff.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had an amazing time couchsurfing in Portugal, Spain and Morocco. Really changed my perspective. :) I still keep in touch with those couchsurfers and hope to meet them again!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Backpacking Europe. Going to the north side of Cyprus. Meeting the Montenegrin Parliamentarian before they separated from Serbia. Living in Japan for a year as a high school student. Seeing the last night space shuttle launch take off. Seeing 5 former secretaries of state just about a few feet away from me~ and knowing they are human too.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

If you ever get a chance to go to Tibet (Lhasa) on the train from Xinning, wake up at 8:30am and look outside. You'll find the most beautiful sunrise on one side of the window, and the moon on the other.
