About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet beautiful souls, in beautiful places. To live my life to the fullest.
ABOUT ME
I smile and laugh a lot.
I am from Sydney, Australia but am currently living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for 1 year doing volunteer work.
I am a qualified primary (elementary) and special education teacher.
I always see the best in people.
Some may say I'm a little too sensitive, i'm a piscean ;)
I'm open to most things and love learning about other cultures, or things i've not experienced myself.
I love to have a chat.
PHILOSOPHY
I think this quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson best sums it up:
"To laugh often and much;
to win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others;
to leave the world a bit better,
to know even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded"

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to name.
Music- anything live, acoustic, raw is my favourite. Although, i'll listen to just about anything and my i-pod is a mixed bunch. Some of my favourite musicians (just to list a few): Ben Harper, Washington, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Newton Faulkner, Angus & Julia Stone, Rachael Brady, Ingrid Michaelson, Adele, Eric Hutchinson, Vampire Weeekend, The Waifs.
Movies- anything that touches me.
Books- autobiographical books mainly. Books concerned with people of different cultures, and lifestyles. I'm currently reading "half the sky" which is beyond inspiring.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Voluteering with some of the most beautiful children ever in 2008, and now again in 2011.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning about different cultures and always learn something when meeting people from different cultures.
Teach- if you want to know anything about Sydney, or even Vietnam (although, I haven't lived here that long) let me know and I can give you some tips!
Countries I’ve Visited
