COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been lucky enough to have friends in all the places I have visited in New Zealand so haven't used couch surfing there. I hosted a friend Barbara after meeting her on the Milford track in New Zealand and she suggested I give this a go once I start travelling.
I have surfed throughout Canada, the USA, Europe so far.
Highlights would be staying in a beautiful 18th century villa and watching the sunrise from the roof and seeing a black bear up close and personal with CS friends i met in Quebec. Going to a Liverpool football match with my host in Birmingham and having a proper english breakfast the next day. Making a kiwi dinner for a lovely Belgium family in Dendermonde.
In France having a house party hosted by a le cordon bleu chef and tasting french delicacies. In Liverpool staying with a some cool spanish girls and exploring the city together. Many more to come.....
