Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From my experience of sleeping in dozens of places and helping dozens of people, the Couchsurfing experience is special and intense. I like people, so I go to a lot of gatherings, but there is a huge difference in density between a gathering that lasts a few hours and the experience of having someone sleep at my house for a few nights. Spending 24 hours with someone, even if only for a few days, allows you to understand that person much more deeply. Of course, not all hosts stay with surfers 24 hours a day, but in any case, the depth of the encounter is different because you spend much more time than if you met outside. Just sharing your frizz in the morning can drastically change the nature of your relationship. Also, the very act of giving and receiving favors can affect the density of the relationship. This is because you start a relationship with positive feelings toward each other.
