About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Pursuit of Happiness, Liberty, and Love for All

ABOUT ME

I'm a Frenchman who moved to the United States as a kid and grew up in the US. I have dual citizenship. I've lived in Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Las Vegas, and now live in Dallas, Texas.

I'm very much into personal development, and into helping other people with their own personal development and growth. I enjoy taking on different experiments to grow. One of the things I'm currently doing is writing on my website, as a way for me to face my fears of writing publicly.

I love traveling, and visiting new places.

PHILOSOPHY

I came up with the tagline of "Pursuit of Happiness, Liberty and Love for all" for my personal website and I've listed it here as my mission.

"Pursuit of Happiness" is about doing those things that truly fulfills us as humans being. It's about letting go of the noise that tells us what we should do, and instead truly listening to ourselves.

"Liberty" - another word for Freedom - my most important value. I love exploring, and gaining the ability to do new things, to expand beyond my current scope.

"and Love for all" - That has a dual meaning. The first, is that it's about seeking to love and care for all people. The second, is that it's about my own mission in life to help people love, and to help remove the blocks that gets in the way of love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I drove around the US, staying at different friends place I realized I enjoyed that so much more than staying in hotels.

One of my objectives when I travel is to meet local people, and that's something that I feel very drawn with couchsurfing.

I just took my first couch surfing experience by going to Austin and couchsurfing there for 5 days during the Austin Couch Crash.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love science fiction books, those that expand my mind. My favorite Sci-Fi books are: Xenocide (along with Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead), Battlefield Earth. I'm currently into reading Alastair Reynolds.

I read personal development books on a regular basis. I've recently read "Quiet: The power of Introvert in a world that can't stop talking". Right now, I'm reading the book "Power of Full Engagement".

As for movies, I loved Lords of the Rings.
