About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make french people reputation with foreigners a bit better :-)
ABOUT ME
I'm 38, a quiet open minded guy, curious about everything. I feel myself a citizen of the world, like to travel and meet people. Am currently getting spanish lessons !
If I'm requesting for your couch, note that I'm really easygoing and adapting well in any kind of situation. I would be glad to have a good talk about your country if you are available but you will barely notice I'm there if you need some privacy for any reason.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfing is a long term project in my mind, that means if I greet you it has not to be too restrictive to me, otherwise handling my own life + receiving people on a regular basis would be too much.
That means :
-I'm more opened to receive people on weekdays : I'm often gone the weekends and where I'm in my schedule does not allow to manage guests.
-2 nights is max, you need to be at my home before I am going to bed (11pm on weekdays, anyway people are often tired early after a day walk in Paris), I leave in the morning at 8.15am.
-Don't bother but I feel I probably have more to share with people at least at the end of their 20s than with students who come to Paris to enjoy the nightlife.
-Don't expect me to spend one hour cooking (and that's better for your health :-) ). Anyway if you come to France for food I know lot of good value-for-money restaurants (included cheap ones).
-I usually won't tour with you, but I will be glad to provide lot of tips of what is interesting, where to go when, what transports to use, etc. I will also do my max to be avalaible for a good talk.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosting few people, always good experiences and brought me some news about the world in my daily life.
Interests
Hobbies are jogging, traveling, history, talking about news, TV shows, watching football (soccer) and basketball (NBA). Am also a diving beginner.
I happen to play some board games. Used to play table tennis at good level.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm dealing with lot of history stuff (newspapers, books, DVDs), reading sci-fi (Star Wars, Dune, Tolkien, etc...), watching TV shows (Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad are favorites).
About music I'm listening a bit of everything, from classical to...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Even within a car, getting lost in Lebanon mountains with only a compass to help was for sure an unexpected experience :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I will be glad to talk about anything in France and Paris, and to listen to you about the way of life in your own country.
