About Me

Bonjour! How’s it going?

Let me start from the beginning. I was born in Versailles, near Paris, but quickly moved to a small town in Normandy where I had an amazing childhood. At 20, I moved to China, and after a few more adventures and plane tickets, I ended up in San Francisco—a city I couldn’t seem to leave for more than two weeks, until Europe called me back. I spent some time in Germany and Spain before returning briefly to San Francisco, and now I’m living in New York City.

I work as an engineer for a startup, which keeps me pretty busy during the week. But on weekends, I love going out—movies, brunches, parties—you name it, I’m probably there.

I live in a cozy one-bedroom apartment in Hell’s Kitchen, a lively neighborhood in Manhattan known for its great restaurants and vibrant gay bars. It’s also super convenient with plenty of subway lines as it is just a few blocks away from Times Square. I’ve got a sofa bed in my living room , so I can host one or two people if you ever want to visit!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a fan of William Butler Yeats' quote, "There are no strangers here; Only friends you haven't yet met". I think this is pretty much the philosophy of the Couchsurfing community.

I happily hosted Clement, Camille, Caroline, Lea, Adele, Ian, Nico, and more than 30+ people. I always had a good experience and hope to meet you soon.

Interests

Plastic bubble popping. I'm not kidding, I think I could spend days doing this and still have fun every time it pops. I'm a big fan of music, food (newly vegan) and wine. I love the smell of freshly cut grass and sunny days.
