About Me

Bonjour! How are you?

Let's start with the beginning. I was born in Versailles, pretty close to Paris, France but almost immediately moved to a small town in Normandy, where I think I had the most fantastic childhood I could ever wish for. Then, I moved to China when I was twenty, and after some plane tickets, I ended up in San Francisco. A city that I couldn't, for some reason, leave for more than two weeks until I moved back to Europe. Germany first, then Spain. After some time back in San Francisco, I now live in New York City.

I work as a design technologist for a tech startup. I work a lot during the week but also enjoy weekends: movies, brunches, parties, no excuses to stay home!

I love exploring and discovering new things. I'm very optimistic. I've been four times to Burning Man )'(. I'm open-minded, LGBT-friendly.

I live in a relatively small one bedroom apartment in Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan, a up and coming lively neighborhood with great restaurants, many cool gay bars and clubs and a direct access to the rest of the city with all the subway lines within walking distance. I have an air-mattress so we can host one or two people (or a couple).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a fan of William Butler Yeats' quote, « There are no strangers here; Only friends you haven't yet met. » I think this is pretty much the philosophy of the Couchsurfing community.

I happily hosted Clement, Camille, Caroline, Lea, Adele, Ian, Nico, and more than 30+ people. I always had a good experience and hope to meet you soon.

Interests

Plastic bubble popping. I'm not kidding, I think I could spend days doing this and still have fun every time it pops. I'm a big fan of music, food (newly vegan) and wine. I love the smell of freshly cut grass and sunny days.
