About Me
I'm a marine ecology grad student who loves to learn new things, especially through travel! I studied Spanish, linguistics, and biology in undergrad, and now I work on coral reef ecology and conservation. I love to read and write and enjoy learning about other people's lives and stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and experience new places and cultures, even within my own country. I hope to find new experiences and maybe even new friends within this community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been scuba diving in the Great Blue Hole in Belize. I camped at Lighthouse Reef Atoll for a whole summer for my research, so I've also been snorkeling and diving at many other sites nearby. I highly recommend snorkeling the perimeter of the Blue Hole, even if you have no interest in diving it. It's one of the most beautiful reef communities I've ever seen!
Teach, Learn, Share
I play multiple musical instruments (saxophone, clarinet, some guitar and violin) and am happy to teach, practice, or just play with you (although I don't always travel with them, so please let me know if I should bring one).
I'm also a somewhat passable speaker of Spanish and am happy to practice with anyone who has some patience!
