About Me
I'm newer to Couch Surfing and even though I don't use it often it's still a part of my life, as I've met and befriended many cool couch surfers over the years. :) So far I have hosted CSs at my apartment in Korea and my villa in Bali and have been a guest a few times. I'm now traveling in England and am interested in connecting with some locals!
I'm from California but I have lived and worked in Asia for the pats five years. I've seen quite a bit of Asia so far! My boyfriend and I recently did a house sitting stint in Auroville, India and a motorcycle road trip around Goa, India which were very unique adventures! I did some traveling in the years prior to Korea, too, visiting a few countries in Europe and studying abroad in Costa Rica and Spain.
I practice yoga & meditation daily. I like hiking and spending as much time outdoors as possible. I also enjoy talking about life, consciousness, philosophy, travel, etc. I love food- and trying new foods- but I'm not a good cook.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: from The Black Keys and Beyonce to The Cure and Johnny Cash. Quality and variety.
Movies: 80s movies!- think John Hughes films, comedies, indie films, documentaries, mind benders, and I'm starting to get into Japanese anime. I recently watched Spirited Away and Totoro and love them!
Books: 1984, The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Anna Karenina, The Yamas and Niyamas, Awakening Shakti by Sally Kempton
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sky diving! And scuba diving. I was nervous about doing each but really wanted to do them, so I pushed beyond the fear and ended up enjoying both greatly.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm glad to teach you yoga asana and meditation, or just talk about them ;) I can also tell you about my experience with Korean culture and the little 한글 (Hangul- Korean) I know. I can share what I've learned about Thai massage and acupressure, too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, an open mind, living and traveling abroad stories and advice, a drink or a meal, or cleaning/ tidying. I'm considerate of my host's schedule and space.
