Overview
About Me
Right now, I'm open to hosting people because I've gained a lot from the people that hosted me throughout my travels and it's time to help fellow travelers.
Here's what you should know:
I share a small house in Niamey with my husband Yacou and our two cats, Garí and Petit Mil (so I hope you're not allergic!).
But please remember that my house is not a hostel so if you are looking for a place to drop off your bags and just hang out in Niamey, than I am not your host. I like to share at least a little time with my guests and get to know them.
Also, just a small tip, I collect money bills from all over the world, so if you could bring a bill from your home-country, you will be greatly rewarded ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I may be new to CS, but I'm certainly not new to traveling! And since I believe in reciprocating the kindness and hospitality people have shown me throughout my travels. Karma happens!
Interests
I'm a person who's 100% down for spontaneous adventures, adrenaline and a good party, but also 100% down to lay in bed all day talking and eating chocolate. Or just eat chocolate. I love chocolate.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: My taste is pretty diverse. Any genre almost! Mostly older artists, not such a fan of that fistpumping stuff, but its OK at clubs.
Movies: Anything and everything, but most often I watch documentaries and Ted talks!
Books: I like whatever catches me, often collections of short stories or criminal novels. When i first find a book I really enjoy, I'll lock my self in till I've finished it!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a calm and positive person who likes learning from others and hearing about where they've been and what they know. I like sharing new experiences with people and going on mini-adventures :) I saw this quote a couple of years ago, which pretty much sums it up: "I have no special talent I'm only passionately curious".
What I Can Share with Hosts
We are living in a small-ish house with a big living room, dining room, kitchen and two bathrooms. When staying with us you will have your own bedroom and access to the rest of the house (what's ours is yours, but what's ours also belongs to the cats...). You will have a key to the room and twice a week 'our' mama Rose comes to clean the house and do the laundry.
