Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Aspiring world traveler!
The awesome places I've traveled to so far I've had the great opportunity to stay with friends. So now it is time to see new countries where I don't know anyone and make some new friends! Also I am planning my first solo trip so would love to meet hosts that are interested in adventuring with me and showing me around their wonderful cities!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Love hip-hop/R&B/Rap! Some artists I'm currently binging on - Chance the Rapper, Miguel, Beyonce (of course), Drake, Rihanna, The Internet, Bryson Tiller, Anderson Paak, dvsn, Majid Jordan, I could go on and on... also been on a bit of Broadway showtunes kick lately. Always love me some indie rock and catchy pop tunes as well
TV: Game of Thrones (duh), Orange is the New Black, a bit obsessed with John Oliver, Silicon Valley, The Office is my all time favorite
Books: 1984 is one of my favorite books and most frequently read books. I read Girl on the Train last summer and have pretty much been on a murder mystery/thrillers binge since then with some Tana French and Gillian Flynn. Since She Went Away, The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair, Eeny Meeny, The Couple Next Door, etc, etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A couple cool things I've done since I can't just narrow it down to one
Spent a night sleeping in the Negev Desert in Israel
Helmet Diving in the Philippines
Attended a 4-day Indian wedding (that shit was wild) and performed a Bollywood dance at a ceremony for the bride and groom
Ate sea urchin plucked straight from the sea
Spent several nights in a cave house in Granada
Dropped my phone under the Subway train and lost my wallet on the streets of NYC....AND got both of them back
Teach, Learn, Share
Since I went to school of fashion design, I have a lot of skills in that field. I am happy to help anyone with sewing, knitting, patterning, crafting, etc!
Unfortunately I think I'm one of the only people on CS that really doesn't know how to cook. There are two things (which are super simple but my friend's have become obsessed with) that I can make. 1. Pizza dip (different that what it sounds like) 2. Chocolate covered pomegranate (exactly what it sounds like). and I'll be happy to share them with my hosts!
I also hope learn a lot from all of my hosts and I can't even begin to predict what that might entail, but I can hope for some food, some language, and some music :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I hope we can share stories, and laughs, and drinks, and memories!
