I’m a soon-to-be graduate trying to travel as much as possible and make memories before returning to the world of adulthood. I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and spent my childhood years there before moving to the United States in 2005.

I am currently a senior at George Mason University about to graduate with a B.S. in Tourism and Events Management. I'm in the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and am always excited to share my sorority stories with other sisters or anyone interested in listening.

I love to dance and dance traditional Indonesian dance professionally. My most memorable memory of performing was at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. I was also one a professional cheerleader for several sports teams for two years.

I love the nightlife and my favorite places to go are places where I can dance the night away, especially to Spanish music, hip-hop, and EDM. I also love brunch and spending time with people and listen to stories from people from different walks of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m looking to meet up with awesome people who want to have a good time without any worries! I don't ever want to limit myself to only meeting up with the people I travel with if I do travel with others. I also don't want to simply run around new places by myself if I decide to do some solo traveling.

I like to think of myself as someone with an appreciation for culture and so I am always interested in listening and learning about other people's cultures and expand my knowledge of the world.

One of my favorite Netflix series is Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj! I love his take on educating people about the political landscape not only in the U.S. but around the world as well!

I love a variety of music. I have a bunch of playlists on Apple Music that I made for myself that matches every mood I'll have whenever I listen to music. My top playlists are my Hip Hop Beats, Latino Bops, and TikTok related jams!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing event in my life that I will never forget was the day I walked into an animal shelter in Washington D.C. and walked out with an amazing two-year-old Husky mix who I named Layla. As I write this, Layla has been with me for almost three years and will be turning five in the summer. One of my goals in life is to take her with me to another country and let her discover the world for herself.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a professional Indonesian dancer with experience in dancing for over fifteen years (I started when I was five), I can teach you some basic movements or even an entire dance if there is the time! I would love to learn more about the pop culture in different countries and see the differences between that and the pop culture I am used to at home. Also, I can share my common TikTok obsession with you and give you a few laughs!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my stories and experiences from my travels as well as a college student in the United States. I also find debating with others on certain topics such as politics and seeing the differences in views to be extremely interesting and can be hilarious. I can also teach basic Bahasa Indonesia for those who want to learn!

English was my best subject so I can always help people with speaking English (which I did in Thailand and had a fun time doing!). I also work for an association doing events and marketing, so if I can give you any type of business insight, ask away!
