About Me

I am 33 years old and I have been working in the hospitality industry for the past 6 years. My boyfriend and I have decided to take one year off to travel in Asia and in South/ Central America after 2 years of long distance ( him in Mexico and me in London)
What I love the most in travelling is not only discovering beautiful and breathtaking sites but also discovering a new culture and meeting new people. In my opinion, it is essential to meet locals if you really want to get to understand the country, the culture and have a real experience.
I am easy going, always keen on Learning new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are travelling with my boyfriend for a year and I believe that couchsurfing is one of the greatest way to achieve our objective : meeting the people who want to share with us what they know and love about their country to have a real sense of the countries we will be visiting. We want to stay out of the very touristic path as much as we can. We will be more than pleased to share our own expériences, knowledges or skills to thank our host.
We are also really keen on sharing cooking skills. So please if you like cooking, let's share a great diner together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am easy going with music i listen to different kind of music ( raggae, pop, latino, rock...) and I am always keen on discovering new songs.
Movies: I like movies from Guy Richie for instance but also French movies.
Books: the Alchimist from Paolo Cuelo

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving in Mexico was one of the greatest thing I have done. We also saw the turtles laying theirs eggs on the sand at night...
Sleeping on a top of a volcano in Nicaragua was also a great experience. The sunset and the sunrise were breathtaking and we were just the 2 of us and the guide. It is so rare to enjoy such a beautiful view without any tourists!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to go around the cities with my host if they have time to show us around.
Otherwise it could be great to share a nice diner ever home made (we can cook some french food or learn how to cook a typical dish or favourite dish of our host). Sharing a nice moment in a bar...
