About Me

Hi there!
My name is Steph and I am moving to Madrid from New Zealand with my good friend Kate, to teach English!

I was working in film production in New Zealand but have since decided that it's not the life for me - so I have packed everything up and come to Madrid to gain some new experiences, meet new people, and explore a whole new country

Kate and I are both relaxed, easy-going, friendly people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It seems like a good way to get to know the local area and the best spots to go..plus an opportunity to meet locals

Interests

I am in to art, painting, and drawing.. I like running (slowly) , and I also play netball and basketball socially.

I love to cook, I love to eat, and I love to share meals with people.

We both love beer, movies, art (creating and appreciating), concerts, live music, casual football kick arounds, going to the beach, galleries, eating, hanging out with mates,

no such thing as guilty pleasures!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like cooking with other people and reckon that I can cook (not high-end, but good enough that you'll eat it and not totally hate what I bring to the table)

John and I are good company - we enjoy hanging out and meeting new people - but we are also happy to do our own thing if you've got your own thing going on

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, United States
