Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling isn't only something that I do, but it has become a part of me. I just have this immense passion to travel. I haven't been all over the world or to every continent but I have had my share of travel. I've been to eight different countries and to a lot of states in America. I just have this itch to just pack up my bags and go somewhere. And once you start scratching that itch you can never stop. That's what it's like for me with traveling. I just want to GO GO GO! I want to try different foods, meet new people, discover other cultures, go on crazy adventures, and see beautiful sights.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have to say I like every type of music. I'm not picky at all when it comes to music genera. Music is a very important part of all of our lives. I especially love EDM, pop, and rock.

I love watching movies. Its an escape from reality and an amazing way to spend your time. I am obsessed with Disney and I love a good comedy that makes me laugh. An action movie like James Bond is a film I want to watch. My favorite director is Quentin Tarantino, my favorite actor is Christoph Waltz, and my favorite actress is Keira Knightley.

Books used to be a huge part of my life. I loved leisurely reading particularly the Harry Potter series, Vampire Chronicles series, and Hunger Games series. Sadly now a days I no longer have time for leisure reading, its all school books and research articles for classes.

I have a Bachelors Degree from the University of North Florida in the Public Health and Health Education minor. I've volunteered at the YMCA with the Healthy Living program and the University of North Florida Environmental Center. I am a part of the sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha and the National Health Education Honors Society, Eta Sigma Gamma. I am proficient in many computer skills and can speak conversational German. I am a very confident, friendly, and respectful team player. I love working with people and helping in any way that I can. I want to help educate people on how to make their lives healthier. This is a passion of mine that has been burning for a long time, ever since I was a kid. Now I can finally take the skills I have learned and I hope that one day I will obtain a position in the Public Health field where I can serve my company and community in a way that betters the lives all around me.
