About Me
Hey there!
My name is Stevie and I have an affinity with travel, anthropology, social connectivity, and exploration.
I'm always down to try something new and meet new people. I love learning about a new place through
curious adventure. I'm finishing my last semester at a 2 year college and then I'm taking a gap year before transferring to university. In that year I plan to travel, work remotely, and cultivate my character.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to make friends, see the world, get some perspective on life and the human experience, and most of all to discover myself. I have yet to solo travel, but I know with connections on here it would be a ton easier. Right now I bring 1 or 2 travel buddies along whenever I leave the country, but someday soon I'll embark on my own solo journey.

Music, Movies, and Books
As far as music goes, I don't have a particular genre that I migrate towards very constantly. I bounce around a lot and try to appreciate everything I hear. Some artists that stick out to me include Animal Collective, Panda Bear, Dan Deacon, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Fleet Foxes, KanYe, Rezz, Odesza, Explosions in the Sky, of Montreal, STRFKR, Justice, Paramore...the list goes on.
As far as film goes, I like anything philosophical or "deep" for lack of a better term. Some key favorites of mine are I ve read that have really influenced my character include Lovingkindness, The Psychedelic Experience/Tibetan Book of the Dead, and The Four Agreements.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've been able to do is restart my life in a new city. I moved to Orlando 2 years ago and have made a completely new name for myself. Since my move I've been able to dip my feet into social media marketing, which has proved itself as pretty fitting for me. I've also been able to go back to school and chip away at the credits for my degree. I hope to be able to keep doing this whenever my life feels like it needs a jolt.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to offer short guided meditation sessions to anyone interested or even some basic yoga flows. I am more well versed in meditation than yoga, but I'm trying to teach myself more about it. So that being said, if YOU know anything about mindfulness, yoga, meditation, or self-monitoring, please share your knowledge with me!
I can also help you brush up on your English! Don't be afraid to ask.
I can also sing and play the ukulele! This is one of my favorite things to do, though I usually do them in my private time. However, if you're really itching to learn a tune on the uke, I can certainly help you figure it out.
I consider myself very generous so as far as material things go, I would always be willing to share what I have with you...whether it be food or clothing, etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
With you I would like to share my passion for human connection. I want to learn about you and your life and really connect with you. I can also offer pretty standard couchsurfer tasks like cooking, cleaning, sharing space with others...Whatever you might need from me as a visitor I can likely give. Other than that, I can share my time and essence with you.
