Overview
About Me
I'm a 2015 graduate from the University of Illinois (go Illini!) I love to travel, I studied and lived in Barcelona, Spain for 10 months last year and it was the best decision I ever made. I studied Spanish and Global Studies, and I am a 3rd grade bilingual education teacher in Fort Worth, Texas. I hope in the future to teach abroad in Latin America for a couple of years. I love to dance, watch documentaries, drink wine, meet new people, and take long walks to unexpected places surrounded by good friends and conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people, especially those who grew up and live differently than I do. The world is so huge and I want to learn about all the beautiful inhabitants of it!
Interests
Honestly just talking with people and getting to know them, and also talking with my friends and family. I also enjoy listening as well :) Other than that I like running, Instagramming, watching and re-watching Game of Thrones (I always forget where people are and why and who's trying to claim the throne again...and Jon Snow is a babe), reading ethnographies (and other literature, I just read a lot of ethnographies for my anthropology classes), dancing, singing, acting, modeling, being a quadruple threat...and One Direction. Sorry judge me all you want but I had to be honest! ;)

Books: Harry Potter series, To Kill a Mockingbird, A Walk to Remember (the only Nicholas Sparks book that doesn't make me roll my eyes when I re-read it as a young adult and not a 15-year-old lovesick high schooler), The Hunger Games series, Story of a Soul: The Autobiography of Saint Therese of Lisieux, It's Kind of a Funny Story, Once and Future King...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Studying abroad and everything that encompasses that - the coolest place I went was to Northern Ireland to visit Giant's Causeway - seriously the rock formations blew my mind and it was cool like getting to climb them. I also met Jenna Marbles in person this year and she gave me life advice which was pretty cool too.
