About Me

I am an MSc International Fashion Graduate from Scotland, UK. I'm a bit of a strange one because I love partying and I'm fairly outgoing but I'm most likely to be found in a good coffee shop with a coffee and a book.

I quit my job to travel the world and I'm looking for some help to keep travelling as much as I can whilst I build my Fashion Business. I will be moving to Toronto, Canada in September 2017 just to try and gain more experience in my field.

I love working with small Fashion Businesses - I find that it's usually mutually beneficial! So if you are looking for some guidance then I'm happy to work with you on this.

I'm very friendly and also don't mind someone who wants to hang out a lot or someone who just wants a small culture exchange and a lot of space, just let me know when we are discussing me coming over and I'm sure we can work it all out together.

Any questions? Just ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've used Camp Leaders, Workaway and ERASMUS to travel as much as I can because I love meeting new people, seeing new places and cultural exchange.

Unfortunately travel isn't free and I can't really afford to do it as much as I would like so I thought this offers the best of both worlds - new friends in different places and a chance to travel to cities and maybe even countries that I wouldn't be able to access otherwise!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is varied but I'm into a bit of everything really. Movies are action and comedy but I've got a few favourites and outliers. Books are everything from classics such as the glass menagerie to autobiographies of fashion designers and moguls such as Vivienne Westwood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked with a Vintage Seller in Espinho, Portugal

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - English and some pronunciation (I'm Scottish so I don't want to oversell this!), basic computer skills (how to hyperlink in emails, find your IP address, etc), Vintage Fashion grading.

I could probably teach more but I always find this bit hard!

Learn - Love learning some of the language

Share - Recipes, Stories, Wine (budget allowing)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my unique experiences, cultural heritage, love of learning and exploring, my time and whatever knowledge you may find useful!
