About Me

Hello! I am currently traveling through Italy until August 16 with my boyfriend trying to immerse ourselves in the food, the culture and make memories with amazing individuals!

I will be starting graduate school in Marriage, Family, Child Counseling this autumn at Sacramento State Uni in CA. I hope to specialize in working with children.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to connect with people from all over the globe during my travels and hopefully host surfers one day when I am settled and have place of my own. I have heard amazing stories of those who have CouchSurfed and wish to have my own CouchSurfing experiences as well. Having deep and light-hearted conversations, sharing delicious food, and creating memories with individuals worldwide is a dream of mine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love electronic dance music and trance! As well as classical, rock. and indie! Everything but screamo metal and heavy rap is what I enjoy.

I don't particularly like to choose favorites because that means I have to rate things on a spectrum of worst to best. I just love a lot of different things. As for movies I love: Star Wars, A Walk to Remember, Letters to Juliet, What Dreams May Come, Disney classics, and more.

Have read: (will update)
Currently reading: "The Book of Joy:Lasting Happiness in a Changing World " by the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu and "Survival of the Sickest: The Surprising Connections Between Disease and Longevity" by Sharon Moalem.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am currently on a two month backpacking trip across Italy!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you the basics of playing piano such as sight reading, the different keys, and how to count a beat! I can also teach you how to do hand lettering and calligraphy :)

To Learn: I would love to practice my Italian, learn to surf and also rollerblade.

To Share: I can share with you my infectious smile and my hospitality and warmth if you stay with me as well as laughter in my attempts to practice other languages :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My love of getting lost to be found. My love of adventure. My love of learning languages.

I am an avid active listener who loves hearing about people's adventures and stories.

Don't be afraid to say hi and message me to hang out! I love meeting new people, despite being shy at first but I gradually open up :)
