Hi!
I'm an Australian Brit who's been living in Scotland for the last ten years. I studied Astrophysics, lived off my artwork for a few years, worked for Historic Scotland at Skara Brae Neolithic Village in the Orkney Islands, and play harp and sing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been in LA for a 6-week intensive music school, and can stay a few more weeks on my visa waiver! I want to check the place out and see if I could live here- see Caltech and JPL, go surfing! I'm here til around the 9th of August and seeing what comes up!

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music: classical, jazz, rock, soft-rock, alternative, chill, celtic folk, dance, hiphop... I love reading all sorts of things, like Lord of the Rings, Pride & Prejudice, A Brief History of Time, Sophie's World, I like (good) manga and anime (more high art like miyazaki).. and films! Hmm... hard to pick favourites. But likewise, just a whole range of genres- as long as they're good!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved from Asutralia to a tiny island off the north coast of Scotland and lived off my paintings for 1.5 years.
