Hi, i'm Steph

I'm a total nature-, animal- and outdoorlover. I try to stay positive and optimistic and love to meet new People.
I love to discover the world and learn about different cultures, philosophies and ways of life.

As a host:

I'd have some really nice encounters and long conversations with some intresting and lovely CS, while hosting them the last few years in my beautiful apartment.
In March 2020 i moved out of my apartment and gifted/ sold the most of my proberty. Because of my own travelplans i can't host CS anymore atm.

As a surfer:

I want to travel all the way up from Patagonia to the Nationalparks of Alaska.
Actually I'm preparing myself and looking forward to this upcoming adventure 😊

according to Covid19 i was forced to postpone my plans..

so currently i'm living in the Dominican Republic, staying with my family and work as a volunteer in a foundation for children in needs in San Luis, near Santo Domingo.

I don't want to travel like a basic tourist - far away from the local culture and people.
I want to get to know people with different lifes and cultures. i'd like to exchange a lot of experiences and stories. Getting to know different places and also to have some intresting talks with my host is important to me! 😊

I'm totally curious about interesting stories, places, wonderful beings, good conversations and a lot of fun ☀️

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I want to expand my horizon and meet new people. I love to see how other People live and enjoy their lifes. I love to hear the stories of others and learn so much from them🌻 i learned to love to leave my comfortzone ober and over again🦋

Music:
i really like reggae, latin folk, oldschool hip hop, ska-punk, rock in all its facetes, indiefolk and a lot more..

Movies:
- my absolute favorite movie is into the wild. and Spirit (yea right, the kidsmovie with the horse!) I like movies about traveling specially backpacking and tramping or vanlife
- all kind of movies to laugh together or get scared together haha..

Books:
i should read more books...
but one of my favorites is definitly,
"Into the Wild" from Jon Krakauer.
Also one of my favorites is "Vom Schweden der die Welt einfing und in seinem Rucksack nach Hause brachte"
one of the books that lately inspired me a lot is named "the why are you here Café".

while free camping in Scotland on a really secluded Beach, we got surprised by a horse in front of the tent in the morning. i think it wanted to check out, who is bothering its personal Beach 😄
