About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Always a mission is to enjoy all bits of life & try to find the good in every situation. And to travel the world, of course- I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list! I suppose one of my more "current" missions, however, is to complete our skoolie conversion before this lease is up in a month and a half! Anyone wanna help out?? Haha
ABOUT ME
I like to consider myself to be adventurous and laid back. I'm a recovering workaholic haha, and am really enjoying going with the flow of things and making more time for fun. I love traveling, adventure, hiking, camping, cycling, yoga, slack-lining, tossing around a frisbee, relaxing in my hammock, basically anything outdoors... I enjoy cooking and, of course, eating! I'm always up for trying new things, even if it pulls me a little out of my comfort zone. I also love animals, board/card games, dancing, watching movies, music, and my too-cute-for-his-own-good dog, Max.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that everything happens for a reason, and that all things are possible if you set your mind to it. It's important to learn from experiences, both good and bad, and to apply what you learn in the past to what you do in the present to be a genuinely good person, accomplish your dreams, and make the best out of each day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first heard of couchsurfing shortly before embarking on a 3-month solo-backpacking trip around Europe. During those 3 months, I was lucky enough to have some pretty awesome people host me. I promised that once I got back to the states I would open my door to hosting other travelers. That took a bit longer than planned due to a number of factors. But I'm keeping my promise! My boyfriend and I just moved out to the beautiful state of Colorado a couple of months ago, and we now have a place big enough. So, let the hosting begin!
Interests
I love just about anything outdoors. I really enjoy rock-climbing, camping, traveling, bicycling, hiking, via ferrata,... If I'm not doing one of those things, I'm usually thinking about it. I like to cook and bake, and of course eating ;) I'm always down for a good movie, relaxing in my hammock, listening to music ,and I love anything that'll give me a good laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all sorts of movies, especially comedies and romance-comedies; not a fan of horror or creepy suspense movies, though.
I enjoy reading all kinds of books, usually biographies about somebody's hiking or traveling adventure of some sort.
I listen to quite a wide variety of music genres. What I listen to really just depends on what mood I'm in at the time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can't limit it to just one.. Generally speaking, I took a 3-month solo-backpacking trip around Europe. To experience the beauty and culture of other countries is dangerously addictive, and I'm pretty sure that I have a permanent case of the travel bug. Oh, also, I just bought a school bus. Tiny house skoolie life, here I come!
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH
I can help if you're trying to learn English, maybe teach you some tasty recipes, or if you're feeling adventurous we can go climbing or hiking.
LEARN
I've been trying to learn Spanish, and I'd love to learn other languages as well. I love learning new things in general, and I believe that people learn best through experience.
SHARE
I love sharing and listening to stories, especially of travel or adventure.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We've got a big, new, comfy cozy couch or a spare bedroom with a full-sized bed. Your choice. We can show you around town and would be happy to take you out on a hiking or climbing adventure if we're not working. We've also got a pretty adorable dog- free snuggles from him. We've also got extra bikes that you can borrow to wander around town. Fort Collins is a very bicycle-friendly town, loaded with bike paths and bike lanes wide enough to almost fit a car, and you can get all over town pretty easily on them. We've also got a pretty good collection of books and movies if there's cruddy weather..
