我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was in Chile, I met a lot of people. After getting closer with them, I realized, through their numerous questions, that they had their own ideas about French people, some wrong and true prejudices...

"French people live in the country of the perfumes... They don't wash themselves and use perfumes to smell good."

This one makes me laugh a lot ; I didn't know about this reputation we had ! (Just to let you know: this is wrong !)

I am looking for meeting new people in order for them to know more about their "French" prejudices and in order for me to see if mines are true or wrong: a way of knowing better other people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't know much about Couchsurfing as I never surfed or hosted any couchsurfer yet.
I knew about CS by my sister who lives in Nepal and who experienced both activities several times and in different countries.
I think CS is a way of thinking (and sharing) that is the same for all the people experiencing it: to discover new people in order to discover new cultures.

CS is one of the best way to know and understand the world better.
