Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted several Croatians traveling to India by bus this summer for two weeks.

Interests

Yoga, meditation, organic things, vegan/vegetarian cooking, singing, smelling the roses and listening to birds - I love to travel, meet people but be still and absorb what is happening around me. I raced small sailing boats growing up and love anything around water.

Giving underdogs back their voice and avoiding egos :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting refugees in Nagorno-Karabakh, a beach full of starfish in Bocas del Toro in Panama, interviewing tobacco farmers suffering from health issues in Southern Brazil, a rainbow around the moon in a village in the highlands of Panama without electricity and really poor connection to the outside world, being asked what are the United States in a remote mountain village in Northern Argentina. Hearing the stories of the displaced after the Georgia-Russia conflict in Georgia.
