About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My big wish is to integrate my head, heart and hands into a sustainable life of happiness and contribution. I'm travelling through California for two months on a quest for amazing landscapes, meeting inspiring people, learning more about sustainable projects, wwoof, learn, magic, fun and music!
ABOUT ME
I'm friendly, upbeat and I love to learn and discover. Sometimes a bit ambitious. Easy-going, curious, smart, driven, loving. I just moved back to the Netherlands (my home country) after 1,5 year of amazing living and working at an organic farm in Sweden. In the Netherlands I entrepreneur as a facilitator of organizational processes and learning communities. Also I teach at an art school on co-creation and design thinking. I just started a Gift Circle in my home town Utrecht. It's a starting community where people can share their time, skills, stuff, knowledge and space with other.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because it feels like such a gift to be hosted by people from their kindness and enthusiasm. And it is absolutely the nicest way to get to know a place through the people who really live there. I haven't had this experience through couchsurfing yet, but I did have it on my travels thanks to friends and their friends. I hope couchsurfing will open this up even more!
Interests
Cooking! I love the world of food and experimenting with tastes! (asian, italian, vegetarian, vegan). Travelling and especially being longer at a place to really discover and get to know it. I enjoy getting creative: playing guitar, dancing, theater, drawing, photographing. I'm very much into organic gardening and starting to learn about permaculture. Tea or beer with friends is one of my favorites! And last but not least, I love my work: teaching and process facilitation with methods of co-creation, design thinking and shared leadership.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Leave my home to go and live on a crazy beautiful farm in Sweden to cooke, co-create and learn gardening. Together with an amazing team I initiated and organized community festival-about-the-little-things-that-make-us-happy. Lived with the loveliest Guatemalan family ever for three months. Traveled alone for a month in China, saw beautiful abandoned parts of the chinese wall and ate stuff I still don't know what it was. Being part of the startup of an alternative community university that now has over 800 members.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love cooking! Asian, Italian, vegan, vegetarian. All kind of stuff. I am facilitator of co-creative group processes and love to talk and teach about that. I have basic knowledge on organic gardening. I play guitar for two years now. So I'm not Jimi Hendrix, but I can play something nice or teach easy songs.
