I am happiest in the outdoors. I'm active and adventurous. I'm pretty impulsive, love a good laugh and have that earnest Canadian streak.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had fabulously positive experiences couchsurfing, and am hopeful this community will open its arms to me once again.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Favourite music? Alt-pop and Indie music, primarily. James Vincent McMorrow, Borns, the Preatures, Haim, and Tame Impala are among my favourite artists. Love a little Caribou, Kygo, and Kaytranada as well.

Favourite books? Tiny Beautiful Things, Notes from a Big Country, Jane Eyre.

Movies and TV? Controversially, my favourite movie is Hot Fuzz. Favourite TV shows include Parks and Rec and Arrested Development.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Dancing the Harlem Shake with a mixed group of tourists and locals in the middle of the massive water fight that's part of the Pii Mai ( Laotian New Years) celebrations.

Helped a group of kids with severe ADHD put on a musical, against the odds and all expectations of them.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I was trained as a classical singer. I can show you a couple of tap moves. I can teach you the rules of AFL and how behavioural management works. I have some pretty good dessert recipes. I'd love to learn how to salsa, surf and rock climb. I want to learn about different cuisines around the world and where nice hiking spots are. I've been rubbish at languages so far, but want to learn more.
