ABOUT ME
I'm pretty laid back. I'm kind of introverted but I enjoy making new friends. I love spontaneity. The beach is my favorite place to be, although I enjoy the outdoors in general. I have a BS in plant science and a MPH in epidemiology and then jumped into teaching. I'm an animal lover. I have two cats and a dog. I'm a beginner birder. I love starting crafts, but I'm terrible at finishing them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love meeting meeting people. Whether it's for a drink (from coffee to wine), or some fun (preferably outdoorsy) activity!
I love hosting, but right now we are in the process of renovating our house and can't host for the time being.
My favorite is staying with other people, because that means I'm traveling!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All of it has been wonderful so far! I've met some fantastic people both hosting and surfing.

Interests

Mostly outdoorsy activities (ie-hiking, camping, swimming, kayaking, birding, etc..). Although I enjoy indoor activities such as museums and art galleries as well.

I never really make it out to the movies, although I get my money's worth out of Netflix.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know lots of stuff about plants (not everything though). So if you have any questions feel free to ask.
I'm teaching myself ukulele/banjolele. I have one of each, and I'd probably get better if I practiced more. But any help would be welcome.
Also I'm a novice birder, anyone that wants to go outside and start a checklist.
