About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travelling around England, visiting different hiking spots
ABOUT ME
I'm a freelance writer and journalist eager to explore new places and food in England.
Update: I now work part-time as a marketing assistant/social media officer with several places so am even ore eager to fill my weekends.
PHILOSOPHY
Big fan of Machiavelli and Ayn Rand. Also Kant (ha).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I visit new towns (usually for gigs), I simply take a train/bus into the heart of the city and start walking 10mins in any direction. I try to avoid using GPS or any sort of maps. This way, I have stumbled upon lots of hidden treasures and as a result of no expectations, have enjoyed myself terribly.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First time surfer, keen to meet new people and see new places, especially in the UK.
Interests
Great lover of books, especially dystopian novels, sci-fi, and Russian classic. Still working my way through Sapphic TV shows and movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Reported on a political protest in Malaysia for free and fair elections. Was promptly tear gassed by riot police and avoided police batons by hiding out with my photographer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn languages, cultures, and particularly choice expressions that you know. In return, I am fluent in Malay and can waffle on a bit/ curse in some Chinese dialects. So maybe that?
Countries I’ve Visited
China, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand
