ABOUT ME

I am a mix of American & English, currently looking for adventures to be had in South America. I speak Spanish and am hoping to improve it a bit each day over the next year. I am a fun, easy going girl who enjoys city life and the outdoors.

PHILOSOPHY

To enjoy today as much as possible. To surround myself with things and people that inspire me and ignite my creativity. I like to learn from new friends experiences in the hope that some of their finer qualities will rub off onto me!

I love to dance and to go see live music. I like taking part in creative events and festivities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had couch surfers stay with us in the past. It was a great way to extend a hand to someone who was low on cash and didnt know anyone in the area. it feels great to be able to host and take people to the good spots that they wouldnt know about otherwise.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Im reading 100 years of solitude - it is ridiculous and immensely enjoyable. I love The Big Lebowski, Breaking Bad and True Romance. Can pin me down with music - I will listen to anything except R&B! Love electronic, blues, folk, alternative, reggae, hip hop, 50s & 60s tunes, everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just hiked Torres del Paine! Been meaning to do it for ages and feel super privileged to have had the opportunity. What a beautiful spot and a unique experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I have actual teaching experience and I work with kids, so if anyone had kids I would be more than happy to help them with a bit of English teaching or babysitting. I can cook & I like to do physical activities - could teach someone some hula hoop tricks!
