About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To figure out what I can offer others and how to make myself and my community entertained, sustainable and wise

As well as laying the ground work to open up my own community afterschool and summer program

ABOUT ME

In my late 20's. I'm a performing artist, an educator and a craftsperson who likes creating puppets, good food, medicines and fixing whatever some one will give me a chance to learn to fix.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy the world. Take care of it. Live in harmony with it. Live healthy and love your body and yourself. Some combination of those things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

MAY 2015: Though I kind of got lost in the last year with settling back down in Pittsburgh I am now here and looking to meet with any surfers and show them the Pittsburgh I know and love. I apologize for being maybe able to host hopefully that will change in the near future.

Nov 2013: I'm just beginning. Give me a chance. And once I return to a home after my travels all are welcome.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

December, January and February 2013-14: I had some of the best couchsurfing hosts out there during these months. Many took me and my partner in when we were in need of shelter and friendly faces. In Oaxaca, Mexico City, Atlanta and Charlotte we were greeted by multiple surfing hosts who showed us the sites and shared their spaces. While Sara and I were able to cook meals for them and their families as well as teach some partner acrobatics! It was a wonderful time and I thank everyone so much.

November 2013: Thus far I've only had one experience with couchsurfing. In Salt Lake City. It was an experience, I can say that. It didn't leave a great taste in my mouth because the host was quite rude and a little bit frightening with his drug use around the three young children running around. But that was in 2010 and I'm ready to try again and very hopeful, because since then I've had great AirBnB hosting times and want to extend that.
