Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to help people who, like me, love to discover the world through the eyes of others :)
ABOUT ME
I have been living in Lausanne (where I grew up) for the past 4 years after having spent 8 years in Montreal. Ever heard of reverse cultural shock? It can be pretty hard, but it also brings all kinds of funny situations and makes you learn a lot about yourself.
I am a translator and a writer who is currently writing her first play and novel.
I have been to quite a few European countries, Japan and the United States. I'm often going to London.
PHILOSOPHY
I think everyone should be equal, and giving is crucial. Respect and trust are the basis of interaction, though sometimes they are missing... I am generally a peaceful person and I wish I could make life easier for everybody.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can't host often (my flat is tiny and my schedule hectic) but I meet people for coffee, I attend and/or organize local meetings and I surf from time to time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted a few people in Montreal and Lausanne and surfed on a few couches in West Canada, San Francisco, London and Lisbon.

Música, películas y libros
Authors: Victor Hugo, Baudelaire, Paul Bowles, Alessandro Baricco, Marguerite Duras, Marguerite Yourcenar, Charlotte Brontë, Susanna Tamaro, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, travelers stories (Sarah Marquis, swiss authors, Elizabeth Gilbert, ...)
Movies: Luftbusiness, by Dominique de Rivaz, is one of my favorites.
Tornatore, Benigni, Almodovar, Icelandic movies, too many to list them!
Algo increíble que he hecho
At the age of 18, I packed my suitcase, moved to another continent and got married to my first love. That's when my first big dream came true.
Now I'm trying to make my second one come true: being able to work from wherever I want to.
Having the British Museum all to myself for 15 minutes thanks to one of my London hosts, who was a curator there.
My first acting experience led me to Avignon's OFF festival last Summer. It was amazing and made me think of a giant artistic CS meeting!
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I can teach a bit of Italian, German and Japanese, some circus techniques and a bit of yoga too. I can show you Lausanne, a pretty city full of my childhood memories.
I am always willing to learn new things. Next will be Spanish and Greek...
Most importantly, we can just... talk. And share.
