My name is Stephanie, or Steph. I’m 27. I’m a Libra. I have a bachelors degree in psychology and a second one in sociology. I currently self-educate by reading books, by listening to podcasts and by watching documentaries. I also love traveling. I started traveling at the age of 14 on a exchange-student program to Mexico, and fell in love with traveling ever since. I mainly work as a social worker/ interventionnist, but I’m always traveling, so the plans are always changing. I also recently started teaching language classes online, and it’s cool because I can get to work while I travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling, and I prefer doing it in an interactive way. I’ve traveled a lot, and I always prefer mixing in with locals and tasting the real culture. I don’t like visiting a country as a tourist and staying isolated in fancy hotels 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am very outgoing and open minded and always ready to take risks and discover new opportunities. I love traveling. I’ve been to 22 countries so far, and my goal is to travel the world. I’ve traveled in many different ways, but my favourite type is the backpack traveling. I’ve also traveled for work, and enjoyed it a lot (actualy live in a different country and submerge in the culture). I love people. I love communicating. I love exchanging. I love traveling for the sole purpose of discovering and learning about different cultures. Human interaction is the most important thing for me. The most important thing in life is the connection we make with others.

I love all types of spanish music, wether is reggaeton, salsa, bachata, merengue. I also love dancehall. I love French r&b or rap.

I love comedies or romantic dramas.

I love reading. Currently, I am reading a lot of books about mindfulness, spiritual growth, human interactions, and also about relationships, communication and astrology. One of my all time favourite novelists is Paulo Coelho. I am currently reading Osho.

I’ve volunteered in a high school in Jamaica for 10 months.
I’ve jumped off a plane.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak many languages, so I could teach you the basics of one (i’m also an online language teacher).
I practice yoga and meditation on the daily it’s been 3 years, I can teach you the basics and we can practice a class together.
I know the basics of astrology and I can help you read your birth chart (you’ll need to know your birth day and exact time).
I love learning and exchanging knowledge, so I’m up for anything that promotes growth :)
