ABOUT ME

After deciding on an early retirement from nursing at the age of 26, I've decided to explore the world! Doing things backwards seems to make more sense to me! I'm an easy going Canadian girl who openly embraces weirdness and uniqueness, loves the outdoors, and is just simply over winter for now. I am independent enough that I don't need a host to be committed to me while I'm staying, but I love making new friends and spending time together also! I am typically up for anything, from vegging on the couch watching television or playing video games to going on road trips to getting decked out and going hard on the town. I'm really flexible and you won't hear me complaining much :)

I would like to believe that I'm a great guest to have. I don't expect anything of my hosts and I hope if anything, I can give a bit to the situation by helping out, cleaning up, cooking dinner, having some sweet conversations, or just being an awesome tag along if you want a drinking buddy!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couchsurfing for a few months now, sometimes through this site and sometimes just through meeting people randomly. It's incredible how nice people are, it never ceases to amaze me. I would love to host once I have my own home one day!

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many of each to name them all! But if I must...
Movies - Snatch, It's All Gone Pete Tong, City of God, Requiem for a Dream, Anchorman
Music - Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Glitch Hop, old school hip hop and rap, indie... Good music is good music, period. No Top 40 typically for me though
Books - Life of Pi, Topping From Below, Shade's Children, The Kiterunner, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series... I like a sense of darkness in the literature that I read!
